University President Attends MOU Signing with the Academy of Huawei

His Excellency, President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, attended the signing of an MOU between the university and Huawei company for technology at LEAP 2024.

The memorandum affirms the university’s interest in technology, as it strives to develop local digital skills and capabilities through academic programs organized by Huawei.  

The Dean of the College of Computer Science at the university, Dr. Areej Al-Asiri, explained that the university attracts high demand for training in technology by young talents from all across the kingdom. 

Al-Asiri pointed out that Huawei's extensive global experience will be part of the university's efforts in achieving Saudi Vision 2030 and mark its commitment in preparing a leading generation in technological fields.  

Al-Asiri added that the university aims to provide the latest technologies in support of gifted students to enhance their capabilities. She pointed out that the memorandum will provide university students and trainees with the latest technologies needed to enter the labor market, which will enrich the developmental plans and strategies set by the Kingdom to achieve digital transformation.

It is worth noting that King Khalid University greatly supports the field of technology in terms of building and enhancing e-systems, training, and building technical programs.
