University President Patrons the Silver Jubilee Championship Finale

The Deanship for Students Affairs – Activities Agency, recently organized the finale of the University Silver Jubilee Championship, under the patronage of His Excellency, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, which was held at the University Stadium in Al-Fara'a.

Among the attendance were Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam, and Dean of the Deanship for Students Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Bassami, in addition to other university deans and employees.

The two finalists were the Business College Team and the College of Arts and Science in Muhail Asir Team. Among the cheering crowd, the Business College Team was victorious and took home the win with three goals versus two.

Accompanying the soccer match, the deanship also organized a number of riveting activities, including an honorary ceremony for the university's cleaning staff and a martial arts performance.

His Excellency expressed his earnest joy following the match and praised the outstanding development of the university's sports and the students' exceptional talents. He pointed out that this event symbolizes the university's efforts to develop sports in the region and its support for our leadership's interest in the field of sports.

Vice-President of the Deanship for Students Affairs, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, explained that over the span of 3 weeks, 19 colleges and 320 athletes participated in the championship; adding that such events are held as part of the deanship's sports' program, put in place to encourage and support university athletes.

The Silver Jubilee Championship Supervisor, Abdulaziz Alsrayi, said, "We witnessed incredible talents and technical abilities from the students", which he stressed will support the formation of the King Khalid University Soccer Team, which is preparing to enter the Saudi Universities Sports' League.

His Excellency awarded the winning team with the championship cup, honored the other advanced teams with medals and awards, and presented acknowledgment gifts for entities that made this championship possible.
