University Acting President Sponsors an MOU Between the College of Medicine and Al-Hayat Hospitals

Under the patronage and in the presence of the Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam; King Khalid University, represented by the College of Medicine, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Al-Hayat National Hospitals.

The university was represented in the signing by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Ali bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, While Al-Hayat National Hospitals were represented by CEO, Dr. Fawzia Mohammad Nasser Al-Jarallah.

The agreement marks the two parties’ belief in the importance of cooperation to achieve knowledge and skill exchange in training and education. As well as enriching clinical and research systems, in support of clinical training for internship doctors. 

The Dean of the College of Medicine at King Khalid University, Prof. Ali bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, explained that the memorandum included training male and female internship doctors in various clinical departments at the hospitals, and appointing training supervisors in each department. The memorandum also included assigning faculty members from the university as consultants at the Hospitals, according to established regulations and mechanisms.

The memorandum also includes cooperation in research and educational programs, cooperation to establish future postgraduate programs, in addition to developing administrative skills and participating in community and volunteer programs. As well as fostering a supportive environment, and strengthening educational and training processes in the region.
