Acting University President Welcomes the President of Najran University

King Khalid University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University of Najran at the University City in Al-Fara’a, for a period of three years. 

King Khalid University was represented in the signing by its Acting President, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam, while Najran University was represented by its President, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Khudairi.

The Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Research at King Khalid University, Prof. Hamid bin Majdou Al-Qarni, explained that the MOU terms included cooperation in the field of research, facilitating joint work in various fields, and financing research of common interest to the two parties.

The MOU included the exchange of academic, scientific, and research knowledge, As well as training and cultural visits to enhance academic interaction and expertise exchange between the two universities. In addition to participation in events, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops that are organized by each university. 

The signing came during the visit of the President of Najran University, alongside the Vice-President of Najran University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Huda bint Yahya Al-Yami, and their accompanying delegation to King Khalid University. They were welcomed by the Acting President, alongside a number of deans and university affiliates.

To commence the meeting, the Acting President of King Khalid University welcomed the university’s guests. Followed by a deep discussion of topics of mutual interest, adding that this partnership crowns the two parties’ efforts in various academic fields. 

The President of Najran University confirmed the importance of enriching this partnership between the two universities in various academic endeavors, achieving Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, and reaching academic leadership and excellence. 

It is noteworthy that the delegation toured the various facilities of the University City in Al-Fara’a.
