72 University Volunteers Contribute to Serving Pilgrims of This Year's Hajj

King Khalid University, represented by the General Administration of Volunteerism and Community Partnership, participated in serving the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque for this year 1444 AH.

According to Dr. Misfer Al-Asmari, Director of the General Administration of Volunteerism and Community Partnership, the university was eager to take part in serving the pilgrims this year, under the direction of Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solami, its president, believing in the great importance of this initiative and striving to gain the honor of serving the pilgrims.

Al-Asmari pointed that the volunteer team included 72 participants from the university's students and employees, who performed 2 tasks represented by the roles of guide and medic. He added that after receiving the necessary training prior to participating, the participants fulfilled their tasks and worked alongside their peers from various authorities to provide services to pilgrims.

It is worth noting that the university has been participating annually in serving the pilgrims during Hajj seasons, through the participation of its students and employees.
