Minister of Education Concludes Visit to King Khalid University
His Excellency the Minister of Education, Professor Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, concluded his visit to King Khalid University, which lasted for two days.
His Excellency the Minister attended the inauguration ceremony of the King Khalid University 2030 strategy, which is in line with the strategy for the development of Asir, and was under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Asir Region and Head of Asir Development Authority.
His Excellency also visited the Postgraduate Studies Building on King Abdullah Road, and launched the e-portal for scholarships "Baaeth". Al-Bunyan also was introduced to the Central Library and the University Hospital and attended a meeting in the Joint Tasks Room.
Al-Bunyan emphasized the Ministry's keenness to develop the work of universities and enhance their participation in research and development during his meeting with university employees and students, which was attended by His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solami and moderated by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Ahmed Al Murei'. Additionally, Al-Bunyan reviewed several pertinent matters and answered a number of queries from university students and employees.
