KKU's Sharia Student "Al-Abdali" Wins Sheikh Ibn Sultan Award in Special Education

The master's student at the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion at King Khalid University, Yusra Ahmed Muhammad Al-Abdali, won the Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh bin Sultan Award for Scientific Excellence and Creativity in Special Education in its 17th cycle for memorizing the Holy Quran.

The awards event, which is approved by the Ministry of Education, aims to raise awareness of persons with disabilities, foster their creativity, activate their positive participation in society, and educate society about their diverse range of talents and creativity.

Dean of the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion at the university, Prof. Muhammad bin Ali Al-Qarni, congratulated Al-Abdali and her family, stressing that winning the award confirms that the visual impairment did not prevent her from achieving her goals to be a role model and that this achievement reflects the excellence of the university's students.

It is worth noting that the honoring ceremony will be under the patronage of Her Royal Highness, Princess Moudhi bint Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al-Faisal University in Riyadh next Thursday.
