University Organizes Health Professions Education Forum 2023
On Saturday, the 27th of May, under the patronage of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, the Health Professions Education Forum 2023 started its activities at King Khalid University, which is being organized by the university, represented by the Saudi Society for Medical Education, and being held for two days. The forum targets faculty members in medical colleges, health practitioners, and undergraduate and postgraduate students.
On his part, Saudi Society for Medical Education President, Dr. Hassan bin Ali Al-Zahrani, explained that the first day of the forum was dedicated to holding a number of specialized workshops in the fields of Assessment Basic Skills, Interprofessional Education, and Statistics Basics in Scientific Research, while the second day is witnessing several discussion sessions on the most important developments in the field of Health Professions Education, as well as a showcase of many research papers.
It is worth noting, that the forum received more than 160 research papers from various health colleges, universities, and Saudi health institutions, during which 120 research posters and a number of scientific papers are being presented.
