University Organizes Mutmayinuwn Initiative - 5th Edition
On behalf of His Excellency the University President, the University Vice President for
Education and Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajem, launched the
Mutmayinuwn initiative yesterday morning the 20th of December in the College of Education
theater in Al-Qar’a university city. The initiative aims to spread the culture of mental health
and raise the level of psychological awareness among university students.
The initiative was organized by the Guidance and Counseling Center in the Deanship of
Student Affairs and included an accompanying exhibition and a number of government
sectors and non-profit associations specialized in the fields of mental health and addiction, in
addition to a psychological counseling clinic.
The event also included an educational symposium on mental health, which discussed its
importance, concept, elements for promoting it, as well as common mental disorders among
university students.
At the end of the event, Saad bin Dajem honored the participants from various sectors. The
event also included giving away a set of gifts for the attendees.
