University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of Tourism

On Wednesday the 19th of November, His Excellency University President, signed a
memorandum of understanding between the university and the Ministry of Tourism in
the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mohammad bin Mueen Bishnaq at
the university's headquarters in Al-Qaraa.

The memorandum aims to enhance human capabilities, increase Saudization rates in
the tourism sector, improve the quality of tourism services, develop tourism programs
and merge them with the latest developments in the tourism sector.

The MoU also intends to foster academic research, contribute to innovation in the
tourism field, and develop and implement activities and tourism campaigns in order to
boost tourism culture by preparing educational programs specialized in the field of
tourism and hospitality.
 

It is worth noting that the university aligned its strategic plan with Asir Development
Authority strategy plan "Qimam wa Shyam" across multiple frameworks, one of
which is the focus on the tourism and hospitality sector.
