University President Honors 18 Computer Science Students for Receiving International Professional Certificates

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Salami, recently sponsored the honoring ceremony held by the College of Computer Science for students  who received international accredited professional certificates in technical fields and computer science disciplines.

 

Al-Salami praised the efforts of the students and their keenness to develop their skills. He also noted the role of the college in providing the best opportunities for  students to receive  certificates, that qualify them for the labor market and increase their employment opportunities.

 

On his part, the Dean of the College of Computer Sciences, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Qarawi, said that the college pays  great attention to the development of students. He added that the college of Computer science  nominated 30 students to participate in the international summer training last summer, which was provided by EC-COUNCIL Company, under the supervision of specialized faculty members in the college.Noting that  professional certificate exams were held for students after the end of the training period, and a number of them passed the test.

 

Al-Qarawi added that the number of honored  students who have received professional certificates in the field of computer science at the college was 18 students, stressing that the college is continues its quest to support students to  obtain the most important professional certificates, and aims that 100 of its male and female students obtain professional certificates by Next academic year 1444.
