Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of Asir Region the Tehama Branch Graduation Ceremony
His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region and Chairman of the Region Development Authority, attended yesterday evening, Wednesday, the graduation ceremony of King Khalid University class of 1443 branch in Tihama, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami at the martyr club stadium in Mahayel Asir.
Upon His Highness arrival the national anthem was delivered , followed by presentation about the university branch in Tihama, after that the official speech was delivered by a group of graduating students. On his part the general supervisor of the university branch in Tihama, Dr. Ahmed bin Atef Al-Shehri delivered a speech in which he stressed that the support and attention that the university enjoys is a source for pride. He noted that this occasion is a shared celebration that includes all members of the society and an opportunity to reflect on the role of education in paving the path to success.
The ceremony included honoring most distinguished students by his Royal Highness the Governor of Asir Region, and a musical operetta entitled ( Glory of a nation ) in addition to the recitation go the graduating oath and the graduates march.
It is worth noting that the ceremony witnessed the attendance of approximately 10 thousand people.
