His Royal Highness the Governor of Asir Region Patrons the Launch of KKU EXPO 2023
His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal, Governor of Asir region and Head of Asir Development Authority, emphasized providing all aspects of support in order to enhance the skills of students in Asir region and enroll them in training programs, which would result in creating employment opportunities in support of regional plans and targets and raise the level of productivity among establishments.
This occurred on Tuesday, June 6, at His Highness' inauguration of the annual exhibition to prepare for the labor market, held by King Khalid University under "KKU EXPO 2023," which is taking place in University City in Al-Fara'a for three days.
In addition to bridging the gap between educational outcomes and the labor market through expanding cooperative training opportunities, the exhibition seeks to prepare university students for the labor market, identify the most critical professional skills needed in this regard, and find future opportunities for them.
Furthermore, His Highness honored 75 governmental and private entities participating in the exhibition, which in its regard had more than 13,000 students registered.
It is worth noting that, with the launch of the exhibition, the university signed about 15 cooperation agreements with multiple entities.
