His Royal Highness the Governor of Asir Region Patrons King Khalid University 24th Batch Graduation Ceremony

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Asir Region and Head of Asir  Development Authority King Khalid University held  the university’s 24 batch graduation ceremony.

His Highness the  Governor of Asir region expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership for the consistent interest and support in the development of Asir region which has contributed in the development of the university city and the success of the graduation ceremony.

In his speech His Excellency the President of the University welcomed his royal highness the patron of the ceremony  and the university  guests, he also congratulated the graduating students and their families. He then thanked the ministry of education for the support and devotion dedicated to higher education in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia , and stressed his pride in honoring the 24th batch of King Khalid University, a batch he described  will contribute to achieving the region’s high land strategy.

 

Al Solami, expressed his joy in hosting the first ever graduation ceremony  in the new university city at Algr’aa, he stressed that the university city is a sources of pride that commemorates the generosity and attention our beloved country devotes to education. He thanked the people of Asir region for their role and commitment to achieving the region’s development strategy. He commended the efforts of  university students and employees in organizing the ceremony and working towards its success .

 

He addressed the graduates in a message where he said” we were blessed by having you as part of King Khalid University community for several  years, and are proud to see you as graduates in this night, we  wish you luck and success in your new chapter, and  we stress that King Khalid university will always remain  a home to you and you will always remain a legacy we are proud to have witnessed.

 

The ceremony included a visual presentation  and a number of participation from the university students and employees , while the ceremony witnessed the attendance of more than 30,000 people.
