University Celebrate World Radiology Day
King Khalid University, represented by the Department of Radiological at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha, carried out, the World Radiology Day event, at Al-Rashid Mall in Abha, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Majid Al Faye, and a number of university employees.
Al Faye explained, that the event aimed to educate the community about the importance of radiation , and the concepts of radiology. He praised the rapid and amazing development in the filed radiology and thanked the Radiology department members and students for organizing and providing all health methods to educate the community.
On his part, Head of the Department of Radiological Sciences, Dr. Maqbool Al-Olayani, confirmed that the event comes within the framework of the university’s role in educating the community. He explained that an awareness exhibition was held on the sidelines of the event as well as ultrasound clinic for men and women, where more than 30 cases were examined.
In addition, the supervisor of the World Radiology Day event, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shehri, said that the exhibition witnessed more than 800 visitors.
