University to Hosts Tuwaiq1000 Campaign

King Khalid University represented by the college of Computer since , is  starting its preparations to host the technical camp “ Tuwaip 1000 in Asir on Sunday the 26th of September 2021 , which is part of launchKSA initiative , lunched by the  Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, as the largest technical launch in the Middle East.

 

The Dean of the College of Computer Science and head of the committee supervising the camp, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Qarawi, said that the College of Computer Sciences is pleased to host Tuwaiq Camp 1000, which aims to qualify young computer science  graduates  in  Asir region . The camp will include  4 intensive training tracks, and will last for 3 months and end with employment, trainees  will be trained on advanced technologies in programming, artificial intelligence and cloud computing supervised by experts from the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones in cooperation with Google.

Al-Qarawi extended his thanks to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Salami, for his continuous support and guidance in supporting the  programs and initiatives of the College of Computer Sciences. He also thanked all the supporting authorities and departments for their cooperation in preparing the facilities and headquarters to hold the camp.

It is worth noting that hosting the Tuwaiq Camp 1000 by the College of Computer Sciences is an advanced step within the college’s vision and goals  to  develop the  technical skills of  students which will contribute to achieving the  Kingdom 2030 vision.
