University Graduate Competition Begins
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Graduate Studies, recently completed receiving applications for admission to master's and doctoral programs (non-fees) for the academic year1443 , as the number of applications submitted to the Deanship reached more than 6,500 applicants.
The Dean of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies at the University, Prof. Ahmed bin Yahya Al Faie, stated that the Deanship will extended the admission for next year to enable those who hold university degrees to continue their graduate studies, as well as to achieve the goals of the university’s strategic plan which are in line with the vision 2030.
Al-Faei, stated that the number of male applicants reached 2,657 while female applicants reached to 3,929 , indicating that the colleges and departments will in the next phase undertake the selection process according to the standards approved by the relevant scientific councils.
Al-Faei, stressed to the applicants the need to follow up the announcements related to the rest of the admission procedures, dates for tests and personal interviews in the programs they require, and the results of the nomination through the university's website and social media accounts.
It is noteworthy, that the announcement of admission to postgraduate studies programs (fee-paid) will be in the next month of Sha`ban.
