Launching an Academic Advising Forum

The Collage of Pharmacy at King Khalid University, launches on Monday a forum on Academic Counseling in the COVID-19 era. The forum was in collaboration with the Guidance and Counseling Center and the Deanship of E-Learning. It included a number of virtual sessions for faculty members as well as students.

The Dean of the Collage of Pharmacy Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sairi, explained the lectures will cover a number of important academic topics. He pointed the lectures target different groups to benefit an advanced educational society. He thanked everyone who participated in determining the lectures topics and organizing them from the Collage or its partners.

The Academic Advising forum lectures covered four topics including: a lecture on academic counseling and online learning delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al Meqbel. It will be on evening of the 23rd of Rabi` I for students, and on the next day the Supervisor of the Guidance and Counseling Center Dr. Waddah Al-Alami will present a lecture on the arts of improving the memory.

Dr. Mona Al-Munasif will present on the 1st of Rabi II a lecture on Self-learning Methods. The lectures would be concluded on the 2nd of Rabi II with a lecture presented by Waddah Al-Alami entitled “key techniques for a successful counseling session” for faculty members.
