On Wednesday, the University City at Al-Fara’a is set to host the "International Conference on Complementary Medicine: Opportunities and Challenges." Organized by the College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University in collaboration with the National Center for Alternative and Complementary Medicine, the conference will span in a two-day period, and is to feature the participation of distinguished local and international specialists. The event will take place at the university’s Conference and Seminar Center.

Dr. Abdul Latif bin Jubran Al Mohsenah, Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Research and Graduate Studies and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, outlined the conference Program, which will encompass 12 lectures, five discussion panels, five specialized workshops, over 55 scientific posters, and 16 exhibitors as part of the accompanying conference exhibition.

The conference serves as a valuable platform for specialists in the fields of alternative and complementary medicine to engage in knowledge exchange, share research findings, and discuss avenues for enhancing cooperation and investment in this field. Importantly, the event provides an opportunity for government and private agencies with an interest in complementary medicine to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field.
