King Khalid University's Tehama Campus registered 200 University member volunteers in the Health Volunteering Platform. It was within the University's efforts to spread the culture of volunteering.

Tehama Campus Supervisor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shehri, explained that this contribution is a step in the right direction in terms of fulfilling the health volunteering plan. He noted that it stems from patriotism deeply rooted in the hearts of its people. He pointed out that the volunteers were comprised of faculty members, employees, and health practitioners.

He confirmed that this participation is supported and supervised by His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy. He hoped that this would contribute to supporting the national volunteering efforts, in order to succeed in these preventive plans to face this pandemic.

The areas of volunteering include health volunteering, awareness, and psychological and social counseling, logistical volunteering, and humanitarian service.
