His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, issued several appointment decisions, wishing those granted extensions continued success in their endeavors. He also explained that we are looking forward to benefitting from the talents and efforts of the new appointees.
University Spokesperson Dr.Mufleh Al-Qahtani announced the extensions and assignments as follows:
- Dr. Aida Bint Sanad Al-Qarni is appointed to Dean of the College of Nursing in Abha;
- Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Taihani is assigned a consultant at the University Agency for Educational and Academic Affairs;
- Dr. Nasser Muhammad Al Qumaishan is assigned a consultant at the University Agency;
- The period of appointing Dr. Adel bin Ibrahim Qahmash as Vice Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning was extended;
- Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Yahya Al-Qarafi is assigned the Vice Dean of Human Resources Development at the Deanship of Human Resources, in addition to being the Vice Dean of the Deanship of Planning;
- Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Hazemi is assigned the Vice President of the College of Arts and Sciences in Dhahran Al-Janoub;
- Dr. Latifa Suleiman Al-Ahmad is appointed the Vice Dean of the Deanship of Library Affairs-Female Section;
- Dr. Mohamed Khamash Al-Maghrabi is assigned a Director of the Center of Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship;
- Dr. Amer Ali Jaafar is assigned a supervisor of the Special Needs Unit at the Deanship of Student Affairs;
- Dr. Fahd Saeed Al-Maleh is assigned the Head of the Department of Sunnah and its Sciences at the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion;
- The period of appointing Dr. Abdulaziz bin Awad Al-Amri as the Head of the Department of Medical Education at the College of Medicine was extended;
- Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Numa Al-Qahtani is assigned the Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the College of Humanities;
- Dr. Asmaa Abdul Manea Al-Hammadi is assigned the supervisor of the Department of Educational Technologies at the Female Section of the College of Education;
- Mr. Hasan bin Ali Al-Qahtani is appointed a financial controller of the Student Fund.
