His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al Solamy, issued a number of administrative appointments and recruitment decisions in June 2020. He congratulated the recently assigned, wishing them all the best, and urging them to increase their efforts.
University Spokesperson Dr. Mufleh Al-Qahtani explained that the faculty member decisions included:
- Assigning Dr. Muhammad bin Khalufah Al-Misfer as Dean of the College of Engineering;
- Assigning Dr. Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Talea as Dean of the University Institute of Research and Consulting Studies;
- Assigning Dr. Sara bint Abdullah Abu Melha as Dean of the Arts and Science College in Khamis Mushait;
- Assigning Dr. Nourah Bint Hussain Banafi as Dean of Applied Medical Sciences College in Mohayil Asir;
- Extending the period of assigning Dr. Mezhera bint Shaya Al Yahya as the Dean Assistant of the Arts and Sciences College in Sarat Abaidah;
- Assigning Dr. Zehba Bint Abdullah Al-Raiza as Vice Dean of Women's Scientific Research;
- Assigning Dr. Tahani Bint Musleh Al-Milaby as Vice President of Clinical Affairs in the Pharmacy College;
- Assigning Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Shahrani as the Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality in the College of Dentistry;
- Extending the period of assigning Dr. Majed bin Saeed Al Delhem as Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality in the College of Education;
- Extending the period of assigning Misfer bin Mohammed Al-Shahrani as Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality in the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha;
- Assigning Dr. Yahya bin Saeed Al Hamhoum as Vice Dean of Academic Affairs in the College of Pharmacy;
- Assigning Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Abu Dahesh as Vice Dean of Academic Affairs in the College of Humanities;
- Extending the period of assigning Dr. Salem bin Ahmed Al-Qarni as Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality in the College of Engineering;
- Assigning Dr. Saleh bin Ahmed Al-Suhaimi as a Vice Dean of Academic Affairs in the Arts and Science College in Mohayil;
- Extending the period of assigning Dr. Aziza Bint Abdul Rahman Al-Shehri as Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality in the Home Economics College;
- Extending the assignment of Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Qarni as Consultant at the agency of Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research;
- Assigning Dr. Ali bin Issa Enqi as Supervisor of the Energy and Water Resources Research Unit;
- Assigning Dr. Mona Bint Abdullah Al-Shehri as Supervisor of the Student Training Unit at the University;
- Extending the assignment of Dr. Saeed Al-Surf as Supervisor of the Administration of Studies and Information;
- Extending the assignment of Dr. Noura bint Abdullah Al-Dayel as a Supervisor of the Female Student Center at Al-Mahalah;
- Extending the assignment of Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mubashir as a general coordinator of joint programs in the academic complex in Al-Mahalah;
- Assigning Dr. Saad bin Jubran Al-Qahtani as the Head of Geography Department at the Humanities College;
- Assigning Dr. Ibrahim Asiri as the Head of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department at the Pharmacy College;
- Extending the period of assigning Dr. Zuhair Bin Mutlaq Al-Qahtani as Head of the Dental Education Department at the Dentistry College;
- Extending the period of assigning Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Nazeh as Head Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Dentistry College;
- Extending the assignment of Dr. Saad bin Muhammad al-Qahtani as Head of the Dental health Department at the Dentistry College;
- Extending the appointment of Dr. Turki bin Saud Al-Thiabi as a Head of the Islamic Studies Department at the Science and Arts College in Sarat Abaidah;
- Assigning Dr. Wael bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi as Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the Pharmacy College;
- Assigning Dr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Zubaidi as Head of the Mathematics Department at the Arts and Science College in Mohayil;
- Assigning Dr. Zahir bin Hussein Al-Fifi as Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Arts and Science College in Mohayil;
- Assigning Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Ghafiri as Head of the Education Department at the Education College.
- Extending the assignment of Mr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalid as Deputy General Supervisor of the Scholarship Administration;
- Assigning Mr. Adel Mohamed Asiri as Assistant Director-General of the University President’s Office.
