Socio-Charitable Aspects Highlighted at the End of the 4th Scientific Forum

The 4th Scientific Forum on the History of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz continued its activities for the second day with enthusiastic participation from numerous researchers. The King Khalid University Chair organized the forum at Abha Palace Hotel from the 4th to the 5th of the current month under the title, “The Social Aspects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Era of King Khalid Bin Abdulaziz.”

The activities of the second and last day started with a scientific session headed by the Dean of the Education College, Dr. Abdullah Alkasy. Researcher Metrek bin Turki der’e Al-Sbi’y submitted a study in which he talked the social role of charities in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah during the legendary reign of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz. The charities mentioned included the Al-Bir Association, which is one the oldest associations in the Kingdom. The researcher also talked about the Tiba Association which was established in 1339 AH with a female board of directors alongside active members that have worked hard to provide distinguished charity services to the community of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah.

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Gala Ahmed Mohamed reviewed the impact of security institutions on the community and how they were developed in the era of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz. In his return, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Fahem Bayomi submitted a qualitative research piece on the characteristics of King Khalid’s personality coupled with a quantitative analysis of the substantial economic leap in the era of King Khalid.
