The Fourth Annual Scientific Forum in Tuhama Comes to an End

The College of Science and Arts in Mohayel Asir, recently, concluded the fourth annual scientific forum in Tuhama, which started virtually last Wednesday and lasted for two days, and was under the patronage of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Sulami.

The Dean of the College of Arts and Science, and the President of the Forum, Dr. Ibrahim Al Qaid Asiri, explained that the forum included two divisions entitled “The Role of Human Science in the Wealth of Knowledge” and “The Modern Directions of Science and Technology”. Adding that 65 scientific papers in human disciplines were presented in 11 scientific sessions during the forum.  

The scientific sessions were attended by many attendees who participated with profound comments that enriched the general dialogue of the forum and reflected positive interactions between the participants and attendees.

On his part, Dr. Saleh Al-Suhaimi, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Media Coordinator and member of the Supervisory Committee of the Forum, explained that the forum is keen on supporting the University's strategic plan by producing quality research to meet the aspirations of the region and fulfill the 2030 Saudi Vision.

He also suggested establishing an intermediate scientific center to coordinate annual research events at the university, and to practically apply studies to serve the overall well being of the society. The forum also included a number of proposals and recommendations.

It's worth mentioning that the forum received positive attention and was praised by many academic communities .
