Towards Better Health, First Activity

King Khalid University  Tihama branch, represented by the Vice Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education in the branch, in cooperation with the College of Applied Medical Sciences for Girls in Mahayel Asir, and with the participation of the Medical Services Department, recently, held  the first event of the “Towards Better Health” program, as part of the programs to celebrate  world Health Day.

 

The Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Mahayel Asir, Dr. Noura Banafa, explained that the program is part of a series of programs targeting various segments of society, noting that the main objective of the program, which was held in  Oasis Mall in Mahayel Asir, is to raise awareness on the impact of a healthy nutrition on the health of human bodies.

 

On his part, the Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education in the branch, Dr. Ali bin Alawi Al-Shehri, said that the establishment of the program comes in the context of the university’s interest to activate programs  to serve the well being of the community.

 

It is worth noting that  a large number of visitors from different segments of society benefited from the program.
