University to Launch the 4th Cultural Olympiad for Students

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, is launching the 4th Cultural Olympiad for the students of the university at the beginning of Rabīʿ Al-ʾAwwal.

The Deanship invited students to compete in the announced fields to win prizes at the closing ceremony. Competitors will have 16 individual competitions and a collective competition.

An electronic link has been allocated for registration and participation. It has been published through various social media channels for all students from different colleges. Registration and participation will be closed on Thursday, 27-2-1439, God willing.

Comparatively, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mari bin Saad Al Habash, explained that the fourth release of the Olympiad would be a new version after outstanding success was witnessed in the previous three versions coupled with a high turnout of students. The students will compete in 17 different fields, including 16 individual fields (Quran, Best Recitation of Verses from the Holy Quran, Sunnah of the Prophet’s, the Prophet's Biography, etc.).

He added that these areas were carefully selected to suit all abilities, skills, and talents of students in order to attract them and appreciate their diverse skill sets in other competitions at the level of Saudi and international universities.

Al Habash stated that the Olympiad would be held in the Central Stands in Al-Graiger from 3 to 11/3 /1439H. He made a call to action imploring everyone to attend the competition of the Olympiad and to support the participants.
