King Khalid University's 6th Cultural Olympiad, was inaugurated on Sunday the 6th of Rabīʿ Al-Awwal, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and represented by the Cultural and Social Activities Agency and the Deanship of Female Student Affairs. The event will continue to the 10th of Rabīʿ Al-Awwal.

 

The sixth edition of the Cultural Olympiad aims to develop and stimulate the energies, abilities, and skills of students in various fields. The event will include many individual and team competitions in: Reciting the Holy Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet, the Prophet's Biography, Poetry, Nabati Poetry, Monodrama, Short Story, Arabic Calligraphy, Drawing, Caricature, Photography, Digital Art (design), Cultural Competition, Short Films and Community Service.

 

On his part, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Mansour Al-Adeed, stressed the importance of motivating and encouraging students to participate in the competitions. He thanked His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy for supporting the event and encouraging its repetition. He also extended his gratitude to Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad Du'ajim, for his support and to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
