Al Dawood thanks the leadership on his appointment as the President of Al-Qassim University.

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, the Rector of King Khalid University, has thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, on the occasion of his appointment to the exalted rank of the President of Al-Qassim University, showing his appreciation for the action.

Rector Al Dawood said, "On this occasion, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - on this precious trust. And I ask God - the Almighty - to help me to perform my duty and to serve the religion, the King, and the nation. I also pray to God to help me to achieve the aspirations and ambitions of our wise leadership led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, and His Royal Highness, the Deputy Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah protect them all.

His Excellency Dr. Al Dawood felt proud on his appointment, noting that it was a great responsibility to take over the leadership of a university like Al-Qassim University, which at the same time is located in one of the huge provinces of the Kingdom. Rector Al Dawood also expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Al-Qassim Region, who always stands behind every achievement in every part of the region, and in particular in the University of Al-Qassim. The Rector also thanked the Minister of Higher Education who is also the chairman of the University Council, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa for his continuous support and blessed efforts, praying to God to help him to achieve more accomplishments for this university. Rector Al Dawood concluded his statement by thanking the former Rector of Al-Qassim University, Dr. Khalid Al-Hamoudi, for his distinguished leadership to the university which achieved significant scientific and academic advancement.
