University operates dental clinics during the summer.

His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, has approved operating the clinics of Dentistry Faculty in its two sections (male and female). The clinics will offer their services to both citizens and residents during the summer. Operating such clinics proves the belief of the University in the role of the Dentistry Faculty in providing distinguished therapeutic services for all the segments of society.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shahrani, has said that the college intended to run clinics during the summer vacation for the year 1436 / 1437 AH, in order to provide medical services throughout the year, but not limited to periods of study. He said, "We aim to activate and boost tourism in the southern region, and to ensure the continuity of the provision of service to the reviewers of the clinical education process, as male and female interns operate internship during this period."

Dr. Al-Shahrani clarified that the clinics would be run in two shifts, and members of the teaching staff of the following disciplines would be assigned to supervise the clinics during that period (oral surgery - conservative treatment - combinations - children's teeth Medicine)

Dr. Al-Shahrani further noted that the college had had previous experience in the operation of clinics over the past years.
