University President Attends Dentistry Excellence Program Closing Ceremony

King Khalid University  President  Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, attended  the closing ceremony  for the Internship Program at the College of Dentistry, which was organized by the College in the University City in Qureiqir.

 

In his speech, Al-Solami praised the College of Dentistry’s recent achievements and the college professors for  obtaining patents, and  publishing  scientific research , stressing the need to continue in this direction.

Al-Salami also noted the importance of scientific research and linking it to the applied professional aspect, pointing that the internship year is an opportunity to embody knowledge and practice specialization. Adding that the university  is used to receiving research from internship doctors in the internship year, he congratulated the students on graduating and wished them success.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al-Shahrani, thanked His Excellency the President of the University for his continuous support to the college and its students. On his part,  the supervisor of the internship training program at the college, Dr. Saeed bin Awad Al-Sarhani, explained that during the meeting, the 24th batch of students,  were honored. Al-Sarhani added that the best five research out of 27 scientific papers  were also  honored.

 

It is worth noting that the  College of Dentistry has annually honored distinguished doctors as well as engaging in  community services through the university's dental clinics.
