Asir Governor thanks the university on its progress in the QS rankings.
His Excellency the President of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, has received a letter of congratulations from His Royal Highness, the Governor of Asir Province, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz - may God protect him - on the occasion of the progress made by the university in the recently announced annual report of the QS Organization. The report showed that the university has uplifted from the 604 rank, to the new one, of 573 in 2015. Furthermore, at the national level, the University has achieved progress by becoming the fifth Saudi university with the best performance after it was previously ranked in the sixth place.
His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Khalid, clarified through his congratulatory letter, that, "the achievement the university has reached is due to the consolidation of God first, and then, to the support of the governors - May God save them". Prince Faisal further congratulated, and thanked all employees of the university on the achievement of such results, which is considered a pride to the region in particular, and to the nation in general.
