University continues the activities of the Health, Awareness and Educational program in its third day.
King Khalid University continued the activities of the 3rd Health, Awareness and Educational program. Noteworthy the activities are taking place in Tehama, Asir, and under the auspices of the Asir Province Governor, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul-Aziz.
The Faculty of Medicine has launched its Health educational exhibition in the main camp of the program. The Faculty further provided a private clinic as a way to detect chronic diseases. This section is under the supervision of a number of medical specialists. Moreover, the Faculty did overall health surveys and field work for the early detection of chronic diseases. Surveys included a large number of health centers that are scattered in the province.
In its turn, the Faculty of Dentistry provided - in the main site of the camp - a healthy and educational exhibition which is being supervised by a number of specialists. In addition, there are seven other clinics which include diagnosis, gums disease, fillings, teeth and pediatrics. It is worthy to know that the main camp received more than 500 students from high school during the morning session. They attended a lecture entitled "A story of a student - from admission and even to graduation." It was presented by the Deputy Dean of Admission Deanship, Dr. Hanan Ahmad Saidi. The main camp also saw a course entitled 'the skill of dealing with others', presented by Dr. Mohamed Gharib, who talked about the skill of how to deal with people, and how it is necessary to teach children this skill in early ages, in addition to the ways that enable the individual to be able to acquire the skill of dealing with people...
