University To Hold the 2nd International Conference for Teachers Under the Patronage of His Excellency Minister of Education
Tomorrow, Wednesday the 10th of May 2023, at the Conference Center in the University City in Al-Fara'a, King Khalid University—represented by the Saudi Scientific Association for Teachers (JISM)—will host its 2nd international conference "Teacher and Good Education," under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Education, Professor Youssef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, and will last for 2 days.
His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, commended the attention dedicated to the education sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , which is a priority to our wise leadership and expressed his gratitude to the His Excellency the Minister of Education for his generous patronage for the conference.
His Excellency also welcomed the participants of the conference and stressed that hosting the conference at King Khalid University is drawn from the university’s belief in its role in contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s ambitious vision 2030.
Prof. Abdullah bin Ali Al Kassi, President of the Saudi Scientific Society for Teachers "JISM" and the Chairman of the Conference's Scientific Committee, explained that the conference will feature national and international speakers and present 45 research papers throughout 10 sessions and 3 panel discussions. He added that the conference is to discuss a variety of topics most significant of which are Field Practices & Special Programs of Governmental and Private Institutions of Good Education, Literacy & Adult Education Programs, the Teacher’s Roles in Achieving Good Education, in addition to the Subjects of Good Education, Teacher Preparation & Professional Development, Modern Teaching, Care & Education for People with Disabilities, and many more.
Al Kassi highlighted that the conference will include 11 onsite and virtual training workshops, presented by a team of experts, adding that the entire conference works can be viewed via the conference website (click here).
It is worth noting, that the conference 1st edition was also at King Khalid University under the slogan "A Renewed Teacher for a Changing World", and discussed many topics related to teachers and teaching .
