University Signs Cooperation Agreement with "Made in Saudi" Program

On Wednesday, the 8th of February, His Excellency the King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, attended the signing of a cooperation agreement between King Khalid University and the Saudi Export Development Authority “Made in Saudi” program, at the university city in Al-Qara’a.

 

At the signing of the agreement, the University was represented by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Muhammad Khalofa Al Misfer, while the Saudi Export Development Authority was represented by the General Supervisor of the “Made in Saudi” program, Faisal bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth.

 

On his part, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Muhammad Al Misfer, explained that the agreement aims to coordinate and enhance cooperation between the two parties in the strategic and operational aspects, through joint projects, events & initiatives, in addition to the use of the “Made in Saudi” trademark on marketing materials in exhibitions, promotional campaigns, social & mass media, as well as the establishment of a student club under the name “Made in Saudi” to spread the culture of Saudi industries.

 

It's important to note that the "Made in Saudi" program is a national initiative run by the Saudi Export Development Authority as part of the National Industry and Logistics Development program, which aims to boost national industries, encourage consumers to purchase local products and increase the Kingdom's exports to global markets.
