Agreement of Cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Communication and IT

King Khalid University, represented by the Entrepreneurship Center at the Agency for Business and Community partnership, signed an agreement of cooperation with the Ministry of Communication and IT at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.   

The agreement aims to qualify King Khalid University students at the Center of Entrepreneurship and Code Lab, to enrich their skills and accelerate their communication and IT projects. The center also aims to develop its digital programs, sustaining the needs of the job market and the needs of the youth. As well as sharing research, studies, expertise, and knowledge, in service of both parties' strategic objectives.

The director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the university, Dr. Majid Al-Odiman, explained that the university, represented by the center, worked to broaden its strategic partnership with both the private and government sectors, aiming to keep up with the accelerating development in light of Saudi Vision 2030. He praised the integration between the two parties, to achieve localization of knowledge in the field of communication and IT. He also pointed out that the university is working diligently to qualify and prepare its students through Code Lab and incentivize digital innovation and entrepreneurship to foster a connected environment that incubates innovative projects, under the guidance of elite experts and entrepreneurs.
