University Signs a Cooperation Agreement with the Al-Waleed Humanitarian Foundation

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Alwaleed Humanitarian Foundation. The aim of agreement is to participate in the development of  volunteer work in the university educational sector, and to highlight the pioneering and civilized role of society in the field of volunteering in order to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, explained that the common areas of work are to participate in aligning the scouting curriculum with the volunteer system to be compatible with the methodology followed by the World Scout Organization and the Saudi Arabian Scouting Association.

The agreement aims to prepare male and female university students to participate inside or outside Saudi Arabia in non-profit development projects that fall in accordance with the strategy approved under the umbrella of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association and the World Scouts Association. The agreement also contributes to qualifying male and female volunteers to fulfil their responsibilities towards community development by supporting and enabling volunteering in a number of programs and fields that will achieve diversity and inclusion in various activities.
