University Launches IOS Certification Training Project for Administrative Entities

King Khalid University, represented by the Institutional Excellence Unit at the Vice
Agency for Quality and Development, launched a project to train and qualify a
number of administrative entities at the university to obtain international conformity
certificates ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 20000, and ISO 45001.

 

The University Vice President for Quality and Development, Dr. Marzin Al-Shahrani,
attended the meeting that was held in this regard. He stressed that it is crucial that all
university units complete the requirements to obtain this significant international
certificate, which is an indication of quality in work and procedures, as well as the
excellence of the university's administrative system.
Al-Shahrani, also confirmed that the university is proud to qualify a team of its
employees and faculty members as internal auditors, in addition to a number of
quality experts in the university's administrative systems who are to provide support
to its units in this field.

 

This project included 11 administrative entities at the university, including the
Institute of Research and Consulting Studies, the General Administration of
Information Technology, the General Administration of Institutional Communication,
the General Administration of University Security, the General Administration of
Facilities, the General Administration of Investment, the General Administration of
Educational Services, the General Administration of Legal Affairs, the General
Administration of Budget & Planning, in addition to the Deanship of E-Learning, as
well as the Deanship of Quality & Academic Development.

 

It is worth noting, that this project represents the second phase, as 9 entities in the
university have previously obtained the ISO certificate.
