University President Attends Institutional Excellence Ambassadors Honoring Ceremony

On Wednesday the 16th of November, His Excellency University President, Prof.
Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, attended the honoring ceremony of the participants of
the “Ejada” program for institutional excellence who represented the university’s
administrative fronts. The ceremony was held in the university's auditorium in Al-
Qar'aa. 

 

During the ceremony, Al-Solami commended "Ejada" program, the efforts devoted by
the Institutional Excellence Unit, and its scientific achievements, which contributed to
improving the university's performance and achieving institutional excellence. As a
result, the university will be able to achieve its strategic plans and accomplish its role
in sustainable development. 

 

Alongside visual presentations, the ceremony also included a speech from the
University Vice President of Quality and Development and "Ejada" program
Supervisor, Dr. Marzin Al-Shahrani. 

 

On her part, the Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality Deanship and
Director of the Institutional Excellence Unit, Dr. Hissa Al-Malooth, stressed that
"Ejada" program aimed to train the institutional excellence ambassadors, believing in
the importance of preparing individuals who have the skills and experience in order
for them to achieve high-performance standards, and in return improving the
university's performance. Al-Malooth also explained that the Institutional Excellence
Unit at King Khalid University plays a major role, through several objectives set by
the unit to achieve the highest level of quality and proficiency. Those objectives
include improving systems, models, procedures, and organizational structures, as well
as ensuring the quality of administrative systems in all university departments, in
accordance with the unit’s mission, which is based on applying scientific methods and
models to achieve institutional excellence and qualify the authorities according to the
best international methods and practices.

 

It is noteworthy that the number of honorees was an estimated 34 ambassadors from
various units at the university.
