Extensive media coverage for the International Conference of Media and Rumor.
The International Conference of Media and Rumor has witnessed an extensive media coverage, thus being the biggest international event of media in the region. It is noteworthy that the Conference which was inaugurated by His Highness, the Governor of Asir region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid, is being organized by the King Khalid University in Abha Palace Hotel. A number of TV channels, radio houses, newspapers, and e-newspapers have been covering the Conference because of its has a paramount importance in the Arab and world media aspects.
The conference has witnessed media presence from each of the following TV channels: Al Arabiya, Rotana Gulf, Saudi channels - the first, News, Cultural, along with radio channels of Jeddah, Riyadh and UFM, in addition to the newspapers of Al-Jazirah, Al-Madina, Okaz, the Middle East, Al-Sharq, Alwatan, and e-newspapers such as Sabaq, and Afaaq - the University weekly newspaper. The main celebration of the conference was transmitted on the Cultural Channel, in addition to hosting the President of the university in "Almotasaf" program on the Cultural Channel - a program which is presented by the interviewer Fahd Al-Masoudi.
On his turn, the Chairman of Media Committee and Care, Prof. Yazeed Jasser stated that "the Media Committee has been working alongside with the Organizing Committee in preparing for this event since the last six months. During this time, the two committees adopted a unique and diverse media plan. It included expanded TV and Radio coverage, in addition to the e-coverage and the live broadcasting. Moreover, the plan adopted media partnerships with a number of newspapers and TV channels, which have their influence and audience'.
