On behalf of His Excellency the University President, the University Vice President
of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Hamid bin Majdou' Al-Qarni,
launched, yesterday, Sunday, the international conference "Education & Renewable
Roles". The conference is organized by the Institute of Research & Consulting Studies
and represented by the Khibrat office for Training and Consulting. An estimated 22
specialized researchers are to speak in the conference which will be delivered
virtually over the course of 2 days. The conference aims, to shed light on the
continually evolving roles in the field of education and highlight research papers in
the same regard. 

During the launch of the conference, Al-Qarni said that teachers are the cornerstone of
the educational process. He added, believing in their critical role and in light of the
rapid developments occurring in knowledge, the Ministry of Education devoted its
efforts to establish outstanding programs in order to prepare and improve teachers.
Therefore, it was incumbent on teachers and their training institutions to keep pace
with these changes by developing suitable professional development programs, as
well as holding seminars, conferences, and workshops. And on that account the idea
of the international conference came to be.
