King Khalid University President Attends the Engineering Students Training Closing Ceremony

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami attended the Faculty of Engineering training program closing ceremony on Monday evening at the University Vice Agency for Projects.
 

Al-Solami, stressed the importance of training in enhancing and developing students’ skills. He noted that the engineering students' work is considered an important value to the new university city in Al-Qara'a. He then thanked the University Vice Agency for Projects, the Faculty of Engineering, all entities that took part in the success of the training program.

 

The University Vice President of Projects in term Prof. Merzin Al-Shahrani, expressed his appreciation towards the University President's efforts and thanked the participating students.  He also briefed the attendees on the agency’s contribution in this direction.

 

The general director of projects Eng. Ali bin Fayez Al Sultan, said that the activities of the summer training program for students at the Faculty of Engineering in the University City in Al-Qara’a included 61 students,7 general training courses, 32 specialized lectures, 32 field visits to project sites, which covered two-thirds of  the program duration

 

It’s worth noting, that the closing ceremony included the attendance of Dr. Muhammad Dahem, the Consultant of the University Vice Agency for Projects, Dr. Muhammad Al-Misfer, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and a number of university partners and members.
