The University Receives the “Blackboard” Global Learning Management System Award 2022

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning, recently won the “Blackboard” Global Learning Management System Award 2022, in the Teaching and Learning category, in return for its initiative to adopt  full e-learning patterns in 3  scientific courses taught in all branches of the university.

 

The Dean of the E-Learning Deanship at the university, Dr. Adel Qahmesh, explained that the courses (Physics 101 - Chemistry 101 - Live 101) have been developed with  both theoretical and applied parts, through  linking them to the E-lab platforms dedicated to scientific experiments, and the Blackboard platform. He added linking them to e lab

facilitates access to scientific experiments with in  the Blackboard system. He  pointed that faculty members undertook quality and advance interactive electronic teaching methods and patterns and more than a thousand students at the university  have benefited from this initiative, which aims to integrate educational platforms, create an enjoyable electronic learning environment and make knowledge available to learners and easy access.

 

It is noteworthy that the global learning management system "Blackboard" awards annual awards to the entities  who employ  learning management system to provide innovative educational solutions.
