The King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood has considered the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's achievement - of becoming the 34th rank globally in the field of development this year as compared to the 57th rank last year - as a proof to the development leaps that the country is witnessing in light of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - which made development for both human and nonhuman aspects of the Kingdom its premier priority.

Al-dawood said, "The Renaissance witnessed by our dear country in all developmental dimensions has become a prominent feature of this prosperous era - the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - which achieved a number of developmental achievements both economically and socially. Moreover people are enjoying a decent life with high standards of living, which definitely contributed to the high levels of human development and the warding off of risks for the country and its people.

The University President added that the indicators of health, education and income, on which the Human Development Report depended on, has been sponsored by our government, thus enabling people to harness all kinds of financial and spiritual support. The generous financial budgets of those developmental sectors is an obvious evidence to the successful wise plans and visions that are conducted in our country in order to absorb all dimensions of human development in this blessed kingdom, to enjoy human life and decent living.

At the conclusion of his statement, Al-dawood confirmed the eligibility of this country to occupy a higher rank in the field of development and culture as a result of the patronage it received from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince - May God protect them all. We pray to Allah to perpetuate this country's affluence and generous life.
