The Rector inspects the establishment of three new buildings for girls.

His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood inspected yesterday evening, the establishment of three new colleges in Mahayal Aseer. These colleges are special for the girl students of Arts and Sciences Faculty, the Community Faculty, and the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushayt. In the visit were the Vice - President for Projects Dr. Sulaiman Saleh Alsoyan, the University Vice - President for the University girls' colleges, Dr. Saad Dajm, and a number of engineers and supervisors.

During the inspection, the follow-up Committee for urgent projects held its 7th meeting in the project site, headed by the Rector. In the meeting, members of the committee discussed a number of topics related to the projects, and were briefed on the stages of implementation and completion of the remaining stages. Moreover, President Aldawood urged contractors on the need to adhere to quality standards, and called for doubling the percentage of completion and for ensuring good performance.

It is worth mentioning that these colleges are being built on total area estimated at ​​120 thousand square meters, consisting of 22 buildings, among them the main buildings and appendixes. These buildings will contribute to serve more than 12 thousand students.
