University Concludes The Ramdan Quran Competition

King Khalid University  concluded the "Ramadanak Quran" programs and competitions. The Ramdan competion and program is part of Mobaderoon 2  initiative project and a  cooperation between the Department of Volunteering and Social Responsibility at the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, and the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion at the university.

The Vice-President of the University for Business and Knowledge Economy and the general supervisor of the "Mobaderoon 2"  initiative project at the university, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, explained that the "Ramadan  Quran" program  aimed at serving the Holy Quran in the fields of reading, memorizing, learning and teaching, in addition to providing, advisory and guidance meetings to support the education of Quran. Al Haditi noted that  competition is  in its second edition and  has achieved greater goals this year in attracting contestants, and achieving quality participation.

 

In addition, the General Supervisor of the Volunteering and Social Responsibility Department at the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous  Education (the supervisor of the "Ramadan Quran" program) Dr. Abdul-Rahman Khasif Al-Qarni said that the number of participants exceeded 650 contestants from 19 countries, 50 of whom competed for  first places, in 10 categories, adding that the program included a children’s competition for best recitation and reading which witnessed more than 70 contestants.
