The University Launches the “Ramadanak Quran 3 rd Edition Competition

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, in cooperation with the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, launched the "Ramadanak Qur'an 3rd edition  competition. The competition is  supervised by the University Vice Agency  for Business and Knowledge Economy, and is open for the participation of all segments of the society.

 

 

 

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solami, explained that the launch of this competition comes as a contribution from the university in taking care of the Holy Qur’an by reading, memorizing and reviewing it during this holy month.

 

 

Al-Solami praised the previous  success of the competition in the past two years, and  stressed  that the university is pleased to launch this competition and allow the participation of muslims from other countries to take part in it.

 

 

The University  Vice President  for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, explained that the competition includes four branches, memorizing the entire Holy Qur’an,  memorizing fifteen chapters  of the Holy Qur’an,  memorizing five chapters of the Holy Qur’an and the best recitation. He pointed that the  competition will be held (remotely) from Sunday 2 Ramadan until Thursday 20 Ramadan.

 

It is worth noting that the competition is accompanied by the Quranic Whispers program which will be delivered by a number of faculty members at the Faculty of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion.
