University launches "Your Ramadan is Quran 5" Contest

King Khalid University, represented by the College of Sharia and Religion Fundamentals, launched the "Your Ramadan is Quran 5" contest, which invites university students and the public to participate. The contest will run from 7-18 of Ramadan and is overseen by the Agency of Business and Community Partnership, and the Deanship of Students Affairs. 

The Vice-President of the College of Sharia and Religion Fundamentals for Research and Graduate Studies, and General-Supervisor of the contest, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hosini, explained that the contest is held to empower and encourage reciting and memorizing the Holy Quran. He pointed out that the previous editions of this contest witnessed a wide audience, where participants competed in four different paths as follows, 

  1. Memorization of the Holy Quran. 
  2. Memorization of 15 chapters. 
  3. Memorization of five chapters. 
  4. Purist recital.  

The Culminated awards reach 59,000 Saudi Riyals. Students' registration (Here) and public registration (Here).
