The 4th Annual Meeting for Teaching Assistants and Lecturers
Under the patronage of His Excellency the University President Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solami, the Scholarship Department at the University's Agency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, recently organized its 4th annual meeting online for the university teaching assistants and lecturers.
The meeting was directed by the Assistant General Supervisor of Scholarship Administration, Dr. Mahra Zayed, and focused on several basic topics including an introduction of the scholarship management department ,its responsibilities and its main role which was explained by the General Supervisor of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shaghibi, which he explained revolves around providing the best services to scholarship students and acting as a bridge between scholarship students and the university. He also emphasized that the administration is keen on encouraging teaching assistants and lecturers to pursue programs that align with the university’s goals stressing the necessity of receiving information and consultations regarding scholarship programs and admissions through the support and development unit at the administration.
On his part, the Vice General Supervisor of the Scholarship Administration Khaled Suleiman, explained the steps of the scholarship application from the time of submitting to the issuing of the executive decision, which included 12 administrative and regulatory steps.
It is worth noting that the meeting targeted 420 teaching assistants and lecturers aiming to prepare them for their scholarship programs.
