The General Administration for Scholarship Students at King Khalid University coordinated with several university entities to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus as part of its efforts to limit this global pandemic in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. During these times, the administration noted, it is essential to support the transition of all courses to full e-learning courses.

Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad Du'ajim, explained that based on national precautionary procedures, all student activities and programs are suspended until further notice, highlighting that services will still be offered to students remotely through Blackboard. Additionally, all student's inquiries, submissions, and postgraduate registrations will be processed remotely.

Vice Rector Du'ajim added that to assure quality education to scholarship students, high-speed internet connections were upgraded in the student dorms alongside an initiative by the Deanship of E-Learning to provide a number of iPads for students to use.

The General Administration of Scholarship Students serves to ensure the academic, health, and emotional wellbeing of 1,100 international students from 60 countries.
