University President Launches New Electronic Services

His Excellency the King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-
Solami, inaugurated a package of new electronic services developed by the General
Administration of Information Technology.

 

Al-Solami, commended the distinguished efforts made by the General Administration
of the iT to achieve digital transformation, stressing that the university’s obtaining the
third place among the 36 educational and training agencies in the Kingdom in the 10th
cycle of the Digital Government Authority index to measure government digital
transformation, embodies the great role played by the employees of the administration
in this regard. He also stressed that the world of technology is ever-evolving, which
requires the university to keep pace with this rapid development.

 

During the meeting, His Excellency the University President honored the iT General
Administration team and the support departments, who contributed to achieving the
university's achievement in the field of digital transformation, acknowledging their
active role. In addition, the General Director of the General Administration of the iT,
Dr. Hamed Al-Qahtani, explained that the services, which were launched, included a
conference attendance service, an assistant professor appointment service, a teaching
staff collaborators leave service, a digital platform request service, in addition to the
launch of the second version of the electronic forms, Risalah service, as well as the
launch of the King Khalid University Award for Digital Transformation website.
